Directed by Humans. Powered by AI.
Traditional filmmaking, turbocharged by AI. Love at first byte. That’s SCHAIFFER FILMS. Entertaining, cinematic films, from commercials, brand and social films to TV sizzle reels, drama reconstructions and tribute videos. And everything in between.
AI means we work faster and more cost-effectively than conventional film production. Beautifully made films are no longer the preserve of big brands with big budgets. Your accountant will be thrilled.

Proper Films. Robot Assisted.

How does the love affair work?
Opposites attract: human instinct, machine genius. The deal is simple: humans do the thinking, AI does the heavy lifting. The robot is brilliant, but it’s not the boss, no matter what its socials claim. Passionate and devoted, for sure. But the human wears the trousers.
So who exactly is in charge? Meet Ben Schaffer, an award-winning TV and commercials director. His credits include EastEnders, Saturday Night Takeaway, The Big Breakfast, and campaigns for Jaguar, Sony BMG and Tesco. He’s now turned AI storyteller and taken the helm as Creative Director at SCHAIFFER FILMS, backed by a highly skilled team of creatives from TV, advertising, branded and digital content.

Advanced AI expertise is only half the story. The other half is a great idea. We produce cinematic, emotive, expertly scripted films that land a punch. And when the brief calls for it, we make you laugh. We’re big on humour. Seriously. AI brings extraordinary creative possibilities; human experience brings the judgement, wit and storytelling to make them work.
And when a film needs real people, real voices and a real camera, we do that too.
In short: proper filmmaking, sharp storytelling and a slightly overqualified robot.
From commercials, brand and social films to website marketing, museum installations, internal comms and milestone tributes, we make films people actually want to watch. Most are built with AI, but when the brief calls for it, we go old school: real people, real voices and real cameras. Think a brand event launch film, a destination film for a hotel, or a training film with real employees.
Have a browse below. The robot will pretend it did it all.
Scripted, emotive and often funny.
Your story, minus the boardroom waffle.
Films that engage and make visitors get in touch.
History, brought back to life. Without the budget of a blockbuster.
Milestones and memories, done properly.
Videos your staff will actually watch.
Real crews, real cameras, real people.

Tell us what you need, or what you vaguely feel you need. We work out what’s possible for your brief, at a significantly lower cost than traditional production.
Ideas, scripts and storyboards. The funny bits get extra attention.
AI, real cameras, or both, whichever the idea needs. The robot does the heavy lifting.
Cut and graded, with sound design and an original music score, because sound is half the film. You review, we tweak. The robot is not consulted.
The right formats, the right sizes, right on time. TV, social, events and everywhere in between.
Whatever the platform, from TV to social media, we make commercials that get noticed. Sharp scripts, a story with a heartbeat, visuals that stop people mid-scroll and, when the brief fits, humour: one of our strong suits. Impact, delivered. The robot insists the funny bits were its idea.
TV-quality commercials, without the TV-sized budget.

Your website has about five seconds to impress. We make the films that make visitors stop, stay and get in touch: homepage films, explainers, product demos and 3D animation, made with AI, shot for real, or a mixture of both.
Marketing films that work as hard as you do, on your website and in your campaigns. The robot has strong opinions about your homepage. We’ve told it to keep them to itself.

History deserves better than a dusty video loop in the corner. We make immersive films for museums, heritage sites and visitor attractions: bringing the past to life at a fraction of the cost of traditional production. Dramatic reconstructions can be created in AI from original photos, or shot live with actors, then woven together with first-hand interviews and real archive footage, to tell emotive stories that stay true to the record.
The robot has been waiting years for a museum that would let it near the exhibits.

Your own mini movie, starring the people you love. Expect laughter, tears and an original soundtrack that tells their story. Personal, cinematic tribute films for life’s big moments. Old photos brought to life and custom-designed AI imagery that tells a proper story: emotive, dramatic, sometimes fantastical, and often funny.
We don’t film your event. We make the celebration film that plays at it. It’s created with AI, and if you’d like, we can also film interviews with friends and family to weave in. The robot cries at every one. It says it’s a cooling issue.

We make every kind of internal comms video. Think training and compliance films with drama, heart and humour, that people actually watch to the end. Yes, it’s possible. And no cheesy handshakes or preachy messaging. Made with AI, shot with real people and cameras, or a mixture of both.
We’ve been making these for years, long before AI: a Cannes Gold Dolphin-winning training drama for Tesco, a staff induction comedy for Channel 4, and a sustainability film for EE. The robot wanted to star in the fire safety film. HR said no.

When the brief calls for it, we add traditional filmmaking to the mix: real crews, real people, real cameras. Commercials, branded and digital content of every flavour, plus TV sizzle reels and creative pitches. It’s all under the creative direction of Ben Schaffer, an award-winning TV director whose credits include EastEnders and Saturday Night Takeaway, as well as commercial campaigns for Jaguar, Channel 4 and numerous tourist boards around the world.
A live action film can stand alone with no AI at all, or be a blend of the two. Either way, the robot is never far away, speeding up the workflow and keeping budgets significantly lower than a conventional production. It’s always somewhere on set. Usually near the catering.

A selection of films we're proud of. The robot is very proud too, and won't stop mentioning it.
Want to make films with AI but not sure where to start? We’ll teach you how it’s really done: the tools, the workflow and, crucially, the storytelling that makes the result worth watching. Practical, hands-on training for businesses and aspiring creators, from a director who uses it every day, and who also lectures at Met Film School, Ravensbourne University London and Buckinghamshire New University.
The robot will assist. It has asked to be called “Professor”.
We work directly with clients, or alongside your agency. Either way, it’s a collaborative process: you set the brief, we add the filmmaking brilliance, and the robot delivers the technical genius. It still wants credit for the lot.
